1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the TrailNorth Adventures website and booking our services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement made between you and TrailNorth Adventures concerning your access to and use of our website and services.

2. Adventure Services

TrailNorth Adventures provides guided hiking and wilderness adventure services throughout Canada. Our services include but are not limited to:

• Rocky Mountain expeditions and multi-day hiking tours
• Forest trail adventures and day hiking experiences
• Custom wilderness tours designed for specific groups
• Professional guide services and safety equipment provision

All services are subject to weather conditions, seasonal availability, and safety considerations as determined by our professional guides.

3. Booking and Payment Terms

Reservations for our adventure services require advance booking and payment confirmation. Payment terms include:

• A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking
• Full payment must be completed 14 days prior to your adventure date
• We accept major credit cards and bank transfers
• Group bookings may have different payment schedules

Failure to complete payment by the specified deadline may result in cancellation of your booking.

4. Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• Cancellations 30+ days before departure: Full refund minus 10% processing fee
• Cancellations 15-29 days before: 75% refund
• Cancellations 7-14 days before: 50% refund
• Cancellations within 7 days: No refund unless due to weather or safety concerns

TrailNorth Adventures reserves the right to cancel or modify trips due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or insufficient participation. In such cases, full refunds or alternative dates will be offered.

5. Safety and Liability

Your safety is our top priority. By participating in our adventures, you acknowledge that:

• Outdoor activities involve inherent risks and dangers
• You must disclose any medical conditions that may affect your participation
• You must follow all safety instructions provided by our guides
• Participants must be in appropriate physical condition for chosen activities

All participants are required to sign a liability waiver before joining any adventure. TrailNorth Adventures carries comprehensive insurance coverage for all guided activities.

6. Participant Responsibilities

As a participant in TrailNorth Adventures, you agree to:

• Arrive on time and prepared for your scheduled adventure
• Bring appropriate clothing and personal items as specified in our packing lists
• Respect wildlife, natural environments, and Leave No Trace principles
• Follow all instructions from guides and maintain group cohesion
• Inform guides immediately of any safety concerns or medical issues

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the TrailNorth Adventures website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and route information, is the property of TrailNorth Adventures and protected by copyright laws.

Photos taken during adventures may be used by TrailNorth Adventures for marketing purposes unless participants specifically opt out in writing.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting your personal information. Our data collection and usage practices are detailed in our Privacy Policy.

Personal information collected during booking will be used solely for trip organization, safety purposes, and communication regarding your adventure.

9. Changes to Terms

TrailNorth Adventures reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date.

Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
